Accumulate ready-made sentences
Japanese education expert, Kyoto University PhD, and founder of "New Thinking Japanese" teacher Anning once said:
There's no need to specifically memorize verb forms. Instead, you should memorize sentences and then learn the conjugation patterns. In daily conversation, it's not about thinking, translating, conjugating, and constructing sentences on the spot. This definitely can't lead to conversation. To reach the level of conversation, you need to accumulate a large number of ready-made sentences before you can speak fluently.
